Hello Guys !
I know its been awhile since I've last posted anything on this blog. Life just couldn't resist to give me more stuff to do than I can handle but its better now. Well the story behind me being 'MIA' for almost a month was mainly due to my final examination for my first semester of Uni here in Melbourne.
After a week worth of stressing out I had the chance to go back to Malaysia for three weeks and boy time sure flies fast! As you may or may not know that its currently the month of Ramadan and I, with so little Malaysian friends, have no choice but to go through it alone most of the time. Well almost every student who are currently abroad would feel the same way but yes, you just have to make the best out of what you have. For me, as this is my first time being abroad, its quite challenging. It gets pretty lonely sometimes but you just have to push aside that feeling of loneliness and just keep yourself occupied with productive activities such as reading and going on adventures!
Melbourne is indeed a place to be when it comes to being in the most liveable city on the planet. I can say this for sure since I have first-hand experience. To Muslims who might be worried about finding Halal food here, it's not a problem. There are tons of halal restaurants around and one of my favourite to go to is the Nasi Lemak House in Lygon Street. I can list down a few more if you guys want me to. Just leave comments in this post and I'll give you updates!
You see, being blinded by pride is not a good thing. You have to learn to ask from others and rely on people. We are a social group being, we will always want to feel the feeling of belonging everywhere you go. Some have an easy transition while others have it a bit hard.
Well enough of me babbling, I'm here to wish you guys a blessed Ramadan and to Malaysian students who are in Melbourne, there's a weekly bazaar at the Malaysian Hall every Saturday from 2.30pm to 4.30pm ! Google about it or contact me to know more details.
Thanks for reading.
